Gardening can be one of the most fun, relaxing, and rewarding things you can do. It is one of those projects that is only limited by very few things. Your limitations may be space, time, and resources, but never your imagination. Regardless of those few restrictions, you can still create the garden of ideas that you and others can enjoy. Whether you plan to garden from pots or from a raised bed, your biggest challenge may be getting started.
Before you start designing or paving the way for your garden, create a list of ideas of what you want to plant and size your gardening. Another thing to consider is the type of terrain or land you will be planting on. Some concerns may be is the floor level? Are there rocks, stumps, or weeds that will require your initial attention? Although these may be some concerns, it should not hinder you from completing your garden.

How big will my garden be?
There can be many factors to think about regarding the size of your garden. Here are some factors to consider: Will you have enough time to spend on your garden? Do I need space and land to grow the type of garden you are planning? Will I have enough funds not only for my garden, but enough for unexpected changes?
One thing to note is that if you are operating in a limited space, this may unintentionally affect your plans. If this is the case, you may want to consider using containers like flower pots or portable flower pots. There is also the option to use vertical space. If you have that option, you can hang your landscaping from the ceiling or place it on shelves. Another option may be trellises, if it is small plants.
On the other hand, growing a garden in a large space will also face its own challenges. If you plant in a large space, it is important to consider the water. How much water will you use and when will you water your garden? If you plan to plant a variety of vegetables in your gardening , it may be wise to seek help if you are unsure about complementary planting. By doing so, you will know which plants or vegetables grow well together.
With gardening in a small or large area, your greatest comfort is time. When planning the amount of time to start your gardening and complete your project, it will ultimately be based on your availability. By having a smaller garden, you have the luxury of finishing earlier than a larger one and enjoying what has grown before. A larger garden can offer the same enjoyment, but in a potentially much longer time. Lastly, regardless of size, landscaping requires time for maintenance and care.
