It started about six years ago when I entered one of those free online contests on a blog site that I had subscribed to. This was not a very popular site. In fact, I can't even remember his name. Entering the contest was simple. All I had to do was log in and send my email address for a chance to win $ 100. So I did exactly that. I had no hope of winning. And I never thought if I would win or not. About a month after entering the competition, I received an email from the blog site saying I was the winner. They asked me to provide my PayPal email address. In the same week, $ 100 USD was credited to my account.
About Free Online Competitions
Many blogs organize contests with small prizes mainly to gain traffic on the website. Free online contests also serve as a way for blogging sites to build an email list of people interested in your particular niche. Once you've submitted your email address in contests, you've also chosen to receive additional information from that site about the products and services they have to offer. Because the competitions are targeted to a specific niche, the competition host has an idea of the products and services in which the participants would be interested. A specific email list greatly increases the chances of making a sale.

It took some time, but I found out why I was able to win the competition. The main reason for winning was low participation. This competition did not have a large number of participants, which greatly increased my chances of winning. He only had 1 in about 1,000 compared to 1 in 50,000. And that made all the difference. I realized that the number one rule to greatly increase the chance of winning free online contests was to enter those with fewer participants.
